A 28-year-old teacher from a prestigious school was arrested after he was found out having a relationship with his 15-year-old student.
In an entrapment operation set by the Philippine National Police (PNP) along with ABS-CBN News, Kurt Patrick Ferrer was arrested. He was caught in the act of kissing his 15-year-old victim, Michelle (not her real name).
The Admission
Marife, the mother of the Michelle, read exchanges of messages between her daughter and Ferrer. The messages are so sweet raising suspicions of something fishy going on.
Then, she confronted her daughter. She admitted that she and her teacher had an affair and it came to an intimate level.
Ferrer was a former P.E. teacher of Michelle. She’s into volleyball and got allured by the teacher after he opened a volleyball camp during the Summer of 2015.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Michelle recalled that at one instance, Ferrer asked her to come with him in his house to get a volleyball. However, she was raped. The rape was repeated two more times.
Ferrer admitted that he and Michelle had a relationship. He will be facing rape charges and violation of the Republic Act No. 7610 or the “Special protection of children against abuse, exploitation and discrimination act.”
