A Wisconsin woman is appealing to the public to help her find her Filipino father she had not seen since birth.
Christina Daronco said during a Skype interview with dZMM’s achor Julius Babao and Kaye Dacer that she have never spoken to him or have seen him in the picture.
“I’ve never spoken to him and I’ve never seen him. I’ve never seen any pictures and I have no idea what he looks like.”
Daronco identified her father as First Mate Alberto Salazar.
Her mother met the man in two different periods in 1984 when the ship came to Duluth Minnesota. Her mother was only 21 years-old during those times and thought Salazar was 15 to 20 years her senior.
“When my parents met, my mother was 21 and she thinks he was between 15 and 20 years her senior,” Daronco said.
Daronco shared a picture of her mother via her Facebook account.
Her mother said that his father revealed that he has a daughter in the Philippines and described him as tall and very handsome.
Daronco said she wanted to meet his father to know him and where she came from.
“I wanted to find you because I would like to meet you. I’d like to know my family, like where they came from… And, if you ever wanted to be part of my life, I would welcome you to my life.”
Christina is hoping that some of the relatives of his father will contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org to help her.
