How to deal with a bad day? Ask a robber…
The Marikina police are now hunting two robbers, who after failing to see money from the cash register of LBC branch along Gil Marcos Highway, shot the staffs.
According to Jeffrey Lee, the security guard of the branch, the robbers pretended to be customers before declaring the robbery. They then dragged him inside the teller booth.
But, the two criminals seemed have picked the wrong day, because the branch has zero cash inside the cash register.
The two got angry and burst it out by shooting the teller and another employee. They escaped using a motorcycle.
Police Senior Supt. Lorenzo Holanda of the Marikina Police said the victims suffered from gun shots in the stomach and thigh.
The police retrieved a copy of the CCTV footage featuring the incident. The investigation is still ongoing.
