Touching: This Centenarian Hopes To Die
Ringo | On 11, Oct 2017
We used to pray that the Lord will always extend the life of our loved ones, especially our parents and grandparents.
Our oldies but goodies also would love their lives extended so they can witness their children’s families grow. They will be happy seeing their grandchildren and even great-grandchildren.
Lola Emilia Cabotahe just turned 104. But, if you’ll ask her, she wanted the creator to get her.
Lola Emilia, who is one of the oldest people in Ilocos Sur, is already blind and deaf. Two of her four children, Rosalina, 77, and Emerencia, 72, are the ones who used to take care of her. They are both old maidens.
That’s the reason why Lola Emilia wanted to die. She wanted Rosalina and Emerencia to focus on taking care of themselves.
Lola Emerencia, on the other hand, said she doesn’t want her mother to leave her. She said her mother is her only life.
