Pizza Delivery Man Nabbed With P300K Worth Of Shabu

A delivery man was nabbed by the police, not because he broke traffic rules.
Reynaldo Mercado, 33, a delivery man of a pizza parlor in Antipolo City was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Eastern Police District-District Enforcement Unit (EPD-DEU) in Barangay Maybunga in Pasig City.
Mercado was wearing his uniform and using his company’s motorcycle when he was nabbed by the police.
According to EPD director chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula, they received an information that Mercado is a drug pusher and about to deliver packs of shabu to his customers.
The undercover police acted as a buyer was able to buy P7,000 worth of shabu from Mercado, which prompted the officials to arrest him. 10 packs pf the illegal substance was found in his possession with an estimated worth of P300,000.
In an interview with the police, Mercado named his uncle “Noel” as his supplier. He earns in commission basis.
Mercado will be facing charges in violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act 2002.
