Mocha Defends FB Post Where She Used Honduras Police

Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Mocha Uson urged the people to pray for our soldiers who are battling terrorists Maute Group, Rappler reported.

Via her Facebook fan page Mocha shared a picture of men in battle uniforms praying. She encouraged the people to pray for our army.

“Let’s pray for our army. Panalangin din po natin ang mga pamilyang naiwan at nababahala sa kalagayan ng kanilang asawa at tatay,” said Mocha.

Mocha reposted the photo from CinEmotion Digital Films on May 28 as a support for the Philippine troop. However, it turned out that the men are not from the Philippines, nor they are soldiers. They are actually Honduras Police.

The ALT Team AFP was the first to notice.

Mocha said reporters of Rappler should use their common sense. She said what she posted was an example of “symbolism.”
