Days after bidding goodbye to his ABS-CBN, Matt Evans impressed the people with his very first appearance in the Kapuso Network last September 30.
Evans, who announced his departure on September 11, appeared in an episode of Tadhana, where he played the role of a disabled Israeli who fell in love with his Filipina caretaker.
Evans was with Lauren Young and Mickey Ferriols.
The story actually starred Young, who played the role of Christina, a young lady, who opted to work in Israel to lift her family out of poverty. She then met Caleb, a young man who is suffering from muscular dystrophy. She taught him that life is beautiful. Eventually, the two fell in love.
However, the mom found about their relationship and questioned the authenticity of her feeling for him. She fired her.
Caleb became lonely, noting that she was the only one who understands him. Christina, on the other hand, continued her life and became successful in her new employer.
Later, Caleb’s mom brought him to Christina and apologizing for hindering her son’s happiness.
Hosted by Marian Rivera, Tadhana features life stories of OFWs.
