Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards indirectly asked their fans not to bash Koreen Medina, the third personality in the new series “Destine To Be Yours.”
In an interview with the press, Alden said it’s only their job to bring good stories to life and it will not mean if there is a third party there is something happening off the camera.
“This is our job. This is a way for us actors to make the story thicker than it is. Hindi naman po ibig sabihin na if there’s a love triangle in a soap opera. there’s something happening off cam,” said Alden.
Alden also noted that each and every member of the show is treated as family member. He also added that they are doing this for the fans.
“We just want them to know na we’re doing this for the fans, for the supporters who waited for this project to happen,” Alden, who is known as Pambansang Bae, said.
Maine added: “Siguro po, wala na lang personalan po. Kasi, sabi nga po ni Alden, trabaho po ito lahat.”
Koreen, on her part, understood the bashing she received even before the series started. She said this is just a proof that the fans of Alden and Maine or known as AlDub nation love them so much.
“Na-experience ko na po siya (bashing), hindi pa nag-i-start yung series. It just proves na ibang klase magmahal ang fans nila, parang they’re gods and goddesses sa kanila,” Koreen said.
“Destined To Be Yours” will air on February 27. It also features the talent of Janice de Belen, Lotlot de Leon, Boots Anson-Roa, Gardo Versoza, Tommy Abuel, Ronnie Henares, Juancho Trivino, RJ Padilla, Dominic Roco and much more.
