Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) chairman Martin Delgra was invited by Kuya Daniel Razon on his show.
There he was shown with a social experiment where the members of the crew of the show flagged taxi drivers in Quezon City to Las Piñas to check how many of them will decline or will ask for additional.
Delgra said people should insist on their rights. He explained that when flagging a taxi, people shouldn’t just anticipate that they will be rejected. All they have to do is to ride and tell the driver their destination.
Delgra noted that taxi drivers, just like other modes of transportation, are public service and therefore, shouldn’t decline passengers. People, on the other hand, should be assertive.
