Marvin Espiritu, the rep of the Ateneo standout, said Kiefer asked for the opinion from his family members and friends before finally joining the draft.
“Ultimately, it was a basketball decision for him at this point,” said Espiritu.
Ravena’s revelation came in a few hours after his college rival, Jeron Teng, announced his intention to join the 2017 PBA draft. He informed the PBA office through his representative Danny Espiritu.
Teng, 23, is one of the pillars of DLSU when it clinched the championship during the Seasons 76 and 79 where he was hailed as the finals MVP.
Other big names who might join the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft are Christian Standhardinger, Jason Perkins, and Raymar Jose.
