A Japanese serial killer was arrested by the authorities and found several dismembered bodies inside his apartment.
Takahiro Shiraishi, 27, can’t show his face while he was being brought to the police station. He was arrested on suspicion of murder after nine severed bodies, to which eight of them belonging to women, were found inside his apartment.
According to the police, Shiraishi admitted the crime.
The brother of one of Shiraishi’s victims hacked her Twitter account, which led to his arrest.
On October 23, he was recorded by security camera walking along with a woman perceived as his victim. They were also seen on the footage of a CCTV camera near his apartment.
According to the investigators, Shiraishi created a Twitter profile showing the picture of a cartoon with rope mark around his neck and a wound on his wrist. He described himself as “hangingpro” and wanted to help people who are in pain. He used to contact suicidal women.
He will then kill them the day he met them and will dismember their bodies. It is also reported that he sexually assaulted them. Some of the parts are brought to the trash can and were covered with cat waste in order to conceal the crime.
A lone male happened to be the boyfriend of one of his victims.
The news shocked people in Japan since the country is known for its low crime rate.
