A man who is acting as a mother and father after he was dumped by his wife is now a multi-millionaire.
The man – whose name is hidden for his security – is raising his two sons all by himself after his wife left him, because his earnings as a tricycle was not enough, just won P59 million in the Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot price.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) acting chairman and General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the 29-year-old father claimed his sole winnings with the combination 02-03-14-22-29-30 in the lottery draw last March 20.
Rojas said the man is so happy that after two years of struggling as a single father, he can now give his sons the life that everyone deserve. The man also noted that his sons were forced to stop studying due to financial issues.
“My wife and I would oftentimes argue and fight because my earning from driving the tricycle weren’t enough to provide for our family’s basic needs,” Rojas quoted the winner.
“Most of the time, my kids would go to school without allowance. They were forced to quit school because I did not have the money to buy them necessary school supplies,” Rojas again quoted the winner.
The winner remained mum when Rojas asked him if he is willing to be reunited with his wife.
