Drugs Found Inside Former Vice Mayor Of Marawi

In the middle of war in Marawi, officials found illegal drugs inside the house of a former Marawi officials
C/Insp. William Santos of Drug Enforcement Group said five kilograms of suspected shabu were found inside the house of former Marawi Vice Mayor Fajad Salic and former mayor Arafat Salic.
Santos noted that Fajad is a known drug lord in the city and one of those narco-politicians who were tagged by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Last June 7, Fajad was arrested by the police due to his pending case. He violated the Article 134 of the Revised Penal Code or “Rebellion or Insurrection.” He denied his involvement in Marawi attack.
The authorities are now investigating where the drugs came from.
Last Friday, authorities found two kilograms of shabu inside the house of former Marawi mayor Omar Solitario Ali. The illegal substance is worth P10 million.
Ali is also one of the names listed by the Department of National Defense (DND) who are allegedly involved in the Marawi attack.
