On Wednesday afternoon, Neil Andrei Durugan, was eating with his friends at Toribox in Malate, Manila. He then found out that his bag containing his valuable belongings, including a laptop worth P40,000, shoes and clothes, was gone with the wind.

The CCTV footage of the restaurant showed that two men entered the place. One grabbed the slowly and passed it to a his accomplice. Seconds later, they are out of the place.

Disappointed with Toribox’s Staff

Via his Facebook post, Duguran also expressed his disappointment with the staff of the restaurant. He said it took them two hours just to get a copy of the footage also noting that only tow out of six cameras are working.

“I am very disappointed though with the staff since they don’t know how to handle this kind of situation. It actually took us around 2 hours just to get this CCTV Footage as they were saying that they have to wait for the owner to get to the store before they can access the footages and they even told us that they couldn’t promise to give us the footage soon (like wtf?) but nonetheless, we were able to secure it with the help of the security with us from school. We also counted the number of cameras and there were 6…. only 2 were working,” said Duguran.

He clarified that he was never angry with the management of the establishment and taking full responsibility to what happened. He is only pointing that there are already several people claiming that they got victimized by thieves in the place, thus, calling for a change.
