Dietitian Says Pizza Is Better Than Cereal

A dietitian said Pizza is a much better option than a cereal meal when it comes to breakfast.
In an interview with The Daily Meal, Chelsey Amer, weighed in pizza vs cereal. It turned out that pizza, in terms of nutritional facts, is the more recommended choice.
“You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories,” said Amer.
It was revealed that a 14″ regular crust pizza contains around 266 calories while a 100 grams of breakfast cereal is around 379 calories.
“However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning,” Amer added.
Despite among the two, pizza is more recommended, Amer said it’s still better to have a meal that is rich in protein but low in fat.
