After several controversial operations of the Caloocan police, about a thousand members of the agency were replaced.
Now, in a report, Davao cops are set to replace them. PNP spokesperson Chief Supt. Dionardo Carlos said the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management will issue an order regarding the mandate.
PNP spokesperson Chief Supt. Dionardo Carlos said PNP Director General Ronad Dela Rosa ordered this because of his high regards to the Davao PNP. He also noted that the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management will issue an order regarding the mandate.
“Parang rotation lang, reassignment ng mga officer rank, ipi-fill up din. We will look at where the personnel will be coming from to fill up the manpower need of Davao. Mukhang hindi naman lahat yan ano, yung core members then officers that would assist the current OIC [Officer in Charge], si Senior Superintendent Modequillo dito sa Caloocan PNP,” Carlos said.
“Yung transfer, movements ng mga personnel to replace Caloocan PNP, hintayin natin yung order. Ipapakuha ko po yan for the effectivity and also yung kanilang magiging movement para we can also cover the arrival and departure also from the unit kung saan sila manggagaling,” Carlos added.
Though the Davao Police will take over, the PNP is still open to police officers who are interested to be assigned in Caloocan.
Among the issues that the Caloocan PNP is facing are the cases of Kian Lloyd Delos Santos, Carl Angelo Arnaiz, Reynaldo de Guzman, Michael Remecio and recently, the unauthorized barging on of its members in the house of Lorna.
