Leaders and members of three PNP stations were sacked after a surprise inspection by NCRPO Chief Oscar Albayalde.
Albayalde first visited the Police Community Precinct (PCP) 4 of the Muntinlupa City. He was furious after seeing the police, as well as the Commander Senior Insp. Mark Oyad, having some drinking session.
Oyad explained that one of the members is celebrating his birthday. However, for Albayalde it is still unacceptable.
Oyad was immediately fired. Albayalde ordered to file administrative cases against him.

The next target was the PCP 8 of the Maricaban, Pasay wherein the police on duty were caught sleeping. Surprisingly, Senior Insp. Ferdinand Duren locked himself inside his office and it took them a few more minutes knocking on his door just to wake him up.
Albayalde said the station is one of the most complained police stations in Metro Manila.
Duren was also sacked on the spot.
Senior Insp. John Glenn Siguan the Commander of the Malibay PCP was also caught sleeping. However, he was given a chance to explain because the staff was complete.
Albayalde also held surprised inspections on checkpoints and patrol cars. He said people should be more vigilant at night because criminals usually attack during those times.
Aside from the two chiefs, 16 more police officers were sacked.
