Aga Muhlach And Nora Aunor Leave TV5

After Sharon Cuneta announced her departure to TV5, two more big stars left.
According to a report by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), executive of the TV5 confirmed the exit of multi-awarded stars Nora Aunor and Aga Muhlach.
President and CEO Noel Lorenzana and Entertainment head Wilma Galvante explained that Aunor opted not to renew, because she is focusing more on films, while Muhlach chose not to renew with the new reprogramming of the network.
“Yung kay Ate Guy (Nora), nag-expire na talaga yung contract niya,” said Galvante. “Gusto din naman niya yung film, more on independent films.”
“In case naman of Aga, it’s also business decision for the network because of the reprogramming also that was going to happen. So, we were offering him sana muna program contracts for the year,” Galvante took note. “Pero parang hindi muna comfortable si Aga doon and we respect that.”
Lorenzana, on the other hand, said he is saddened by the decision of Cuneta noting of the good relationship between her and the network.
“Malungkot kasi may pinagsamahan din naman kami,” said Lorenzana. “Pero in the end, I believe, you know, any endeavor that you go through, you have to work for win-win situation that all entities, actually, to find their picture.”
